Our History

Murcielago Farms, located in Charlottesville, Virginia, is a privately held farming operation, supporting nearly 1,300 head of Black Angus cattle. Included within Murcielago Farms are three principle farms comprised of approximately 4,000 acres. These historic farms include Mount Pleasant & Mount Ida; individually distinguished within their own right.
